At the bottom of the division are the Commanders and Giants, two sides relegated to inconsistent quarterback play, questionable coaching decisions and a lack of numbers. However, this does not apply to the division and power plants. The Eagles and Cowboys generally enjoyed excellent seasons. Their quarterbacks have been around the MVP conversation for much of the year. And while they haven’t played well, they seem to be doing enough to stay on track. All of this led to a decisive victory for the NFC East division crown. In the playoffs with an extra home game, the battle for first place in one of the league’s more polarized divisions remains paramount. So who will win in the end, Dallas or Philadelphia? Only time will tell. But an assessment of where the NFC East stands now, along with a look at the plan going forward, can help determine what happens next.
