The Vikings get a huge Jordan Addison injury update for Week 17 Jordan
Addison is one of the new leaders in receptions and yards, but the Vikings WR is out with an ankle injury.
(Minnesota Vikings) Jordan Addison missed practice on Wednesday but returned on a limited basis Thursday as Minnesota Vikings tackle Ben Goessling battled an ankle injury.
Addison did not play in the second half of Week 16 in losses to Minnesota and the Detroit Lions, finishing with one reception for two yards.
This came a week after Addison had two touchdowns and 111 yards. Addison is tied for the rookie lead in sacks and is second to Puka Nacua in yards.
He has become a very good complement to Justin Jefferson and played well in Jefferson’s absence earlier this year.
The Vikings want Addison on the field Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers. The final leg of the biggest NFC North rivalry — which serves as an NFC playoff eliminator — is 7-8 between both teams. The Vikings won the first game against the Packers in October.
Minnesota has lost four of its last five games after winning five straight. Losing quarterback Kirk Cousins to a torn Achilles didn’t help.
