49ers Dominate the Commanders: A Stellar Victory to Close Out the Season!

Following a 27-10 defeat at FedEx Field on Sunday afternoon against the San Francisco 49ers, the Washington Commanders continue to be in the losing column.

After trailing 10-0 at the beginning of the game, the Commanders rallied for 10 consecutive points in the second quarter. But from there, things just got worse.

Even though Washington trailed 13–10 at the end of the first half after giving up a field goal on San Francisco’s last drive of the second half, the squad felt like it had a chance to pull off the upset as they entered the locker room.

But in the second half, the NFC leaders Niners appeared the part, while the Commanders behaved more like

San Francisco extended the advantage with two scores after Sam Howell threw two interceptions to the Niners defense. In their last goal line drive, Washington managed to thwart the Niners offense, averting potentially disastrous outcomes.

The Commanders, who are currently 4-12 and on a seven-game losing run, will play their final game of the season next week when they visit the Dallas Cowboys.
