Steelers intimidate Seahawks as the teams strive for a postseason position.

Seattle (AP) — With a 30-23 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Najee Harris ran for a season-high 122 yards and forced his way into the end zone for two scores, helping the Pittsburgh Steelers maintain their playoff aspirations through Week 18.

The Steelers (9-7) forced their way into the final week of the regular season with a chance at the postseason and made sure Mike Tomlin’s club would once again avoid a losing record by using a relentless running approach that met with little opposition from Seattle.

This season, Harris has not yet reached the century mark in rushing yards; his closest moment was a 99-yard run against Cincinnati. However, he and Jaylen Warren combined for a relentless attack that Seattle was unable to neutralize.

Reaching the 100-yard mark for the first time since Week 17 of the previous season against Baltimore, Harris averaged 4.5 yards per carry. In the first quarter, Warren ran for another 75 yards and scored on an 18-yard run.

In the second quarter, Harris broke multiple tackles en route to the goal line, scoring on a 9-yard touchdown run, before making a last-ditch effort to break the plane. The Steelers led 24–17 after Harris scored on a 4-yard run in the third quarter with a significant assist from his blockers moving the pile into the end zone.
