The roster for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, Florida, on February 4 has been released by the NFL. The San Francisco 49ers dominate the selection with nine players, including quarterback Brock Purdy, making the cut.

Purdy will be joined by Matthew Stafford from the Los Angeles Rams and Dak Prescott from the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC. In the AFC, the 2024 Pro Bowl will showcase Tua Tagovailoa from the Miami Dolphins, Lamar Jackson from the Baltimore Ravens, and Patrick Mahomes from the Kansas City Chiefs as the featured quarterbacks.

In 2022, Purdy’s selection as a Pro Bowl quarterback for the 49ers marks the first time since 2002 that a player from the team has received this prestigious honor, with the last being Jeff Garcia. In a similar vein, Tagovailoa’s inclusion as a Dolphins’ quarterback in the Pro Bowl is a significant achievement, as it is the first time since 1995 that Miami has had a signal caller receive this recognition, with the legendary Dan Marino being the last to achieve it.

In 2024, the 49ers have outdone all other NFL teams with their impressive count of nine Pro Bowlers. Alongside Purdy, the esteemed roster comprises George Kittle as the tight end, Christian McCaffrey as the running back, Kyle Juszczyk as the fullback, Nick Bosa as the defensive end, Javon Hargrave as the defensive tackle, Fred Warner as the linebacker, Charvarius Ward as the cornerback, and Trent Williams as the tackle.

In the 2024 Pro Bowl, both the Ravens and the Cowboys have a total of seven players representing their teams. Meanwhile, out of the 32 teams, 28 have at least one player who received an invitation to the event. The only organizations that did not have a single player selected for the Pro Bowl this year are the Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots, and Washington Commanders.
