Today, the injury-plagued defensive line for the Arizona Cardinals has garnered significant assistance. Cardinals senior writer Darren Urban has reported on X that Leki Fotu has been added to the team’s active roster for their upcoming game against the Seattle Seahawks, which will be the final game of their schedule.
Last week, Fotu was given the opportunity to resume practicing after recovering from a hand injury that had kept him out of the game since November 21st. As a result, the Cardinals revealed that Dante Stills will be unable to play in tomorrow’s game due to a knee injury, prematurely ending his season.
In addition, Stills became another name on the long list of injured defensive linemen for the Cardinals, which includes players like L.J. Collier, Jonathan Ledbetter, and Carlos Watkins, who have all suffered bicep and knee injuries. Fotu, who had started in nine out of the ten games he played before getting injured during the game against the Houston Texans on November 19th, had contributed 2.5 sacks and 25 tackles to the team this season before being declared unfit to play.
During their upcoming game against Seattle, Fotu, Roy Lopez, Phil Hoskins, Ben Stille, and Naquan Jones will form the defensive line. Stille recently joined the active roster after being part of Arizona’s practice squad since May 10.
