The Packers Make Roster Moves as They Look to Turn Things Around

The Green Bay Packers have activated tight end Luke Musgrave from injured reserve, suggesting that the rookie may make his comeback from a lacerated kidney against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

The Packers made several roster moves on Saturday, activating running back Emanuel Wilson from injured reserve and placing safety Rudy Ford on injured reserve. Additionally, wide receiver Grant DuBose was promoted from the practice squad, and cornerback David Long Jr. was released.

By defeating the Bears (7-9) on Sunday, Green Bay will secure a wild-card playoff spot. The Packers have been victorious in their previous nine encounters with Chicago.

Since injuring his kidney in a triumph over the Los Angeles Chargers on November 19, Musgrave has been absent from six games. This season, the player, who was selected in the second round from Oregon State, has made 33 receptions for 341 yards and scored one touchdown.

Musgrave, who participated in limited practice sessions throughout the week, has been listed as questionable on Green Bay’s injury report ahead of Sunday’s game.

Tucker Kraft, a novice tight end selected from South Dakota State in the third round, has increased his output during Musgrave’s absence. This season, Kraft has amassed 28 catches, covering 324 yards and scoring two touchdowns.

During the time when Musgrave was not present, Tucker Kraft, a rookie tight end chosen from South Dakota State in the third round, has seen an improvement in his performance. Throughout this season, Kraft has managed to accumulate a total of 28 receptions, which have covered 324 yards and resulted in two touchdowns.

Wilson, a newcomer who was not selected in the draft and joined the team freely from Fort Valley State, has accumulated a total of 85 yards from 14 carries throughout his seven game appearances. Unfortunately, his participation came to a halt after sustaining a shoulder injury during the Chargers game and he has yet to return to the field.

Ford has a hamstring problem and participated in 12 special-teams snaps during the team’s 33-10 triumph over Minnesota on Sunday.
