The End of an Era: Russell Wilson Reacts to Pete Carroll’s Firing.

Despite their past disagreements, Russell Wilson expressed nothing but respect for his former coach, Pete Carroll, following the news of Carroll’s departure from his position as head coach of the Seattle Seahawks.

In response to Carroll’s surprising departure as the coach of Seattle, Wilson took to X to express his thoughts. The current quarterback for the Denver Broncos praised Carroll, referring to him as one of the all-time greats, and expressed confidence that there are even better things to come.

Despite experiencing great success as a team, Carroll and Wilson’s relationship began to deteriorate before and after Wilson’s trade to Denver after the 2021 season. However, Wilson appears to have no ill feelings towards Carroll, at least based on his public statements.

It is worth noting that both Carroll and Wilson are currently faced with uncertain futures. Although Carroll will no longer be coaching for Seattle, he strongly hinted on Wednesday that he would prefer to continue coaching. On the other hand, it seems highly likely that Wilson has played his last game as a Broncos player.
