Big Game Upset: A.J. Brown’s Absence Shakes Up Eagles vs. Bucs Matchup

The City of Brotherly Love is going through tense times right now.

It was both physically and metaphorically a limp into the playoffs for the Philadelphia Eagles. At one point in the season, the Eagles were 10-1 and appeared to be among the NFC’s best teams. However, after that strong start, Philadelphia faltered in the final six games, dropping them to the fifth seed in the conference and out of the running for the NFC championship.

They will now begin their postseason campaign away from home and without one of their top players. A.J. Brown will be on the sidelines for the Eagles’ Monday night game in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers. The standout wide out was ruled out of Monday night’s game after spraining his knee in the season finale against the New York Giants.

As previously mentioned, he might be available for the Divisional Round if the Eagles win on Monday night.

There are other injured players in the Eagles’ offensive huddle besides Brown. Jalen Hurts, the quarterback, dislocated a finger on his throwing hand during the Giants game, but he is anticipated to start the Buccaneers game.
