Breaking: The NFL Has Made a Contentious Selection Regarding the Buffalo Bills vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Wild Card Match

NFL Pittsburgh Steelers Buffalo Bills

On Friday, the NFL made a contentious choice regarding the Buffalo Bills’ Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers’ venue. A strong snowstorm is predicted to hit Buffalo during the early Sunday afternoon game. On Thursday, rumors circulated that the league would decide to transfer the match to Cleveland.

The NFL, however, denied the report. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported on Friday morning that the National Weather Service has updated the forecast weather around Highmark Stadium for Sunday’s game and that the NFL was keeping an eye on the circumstances. It could be “impossible” or “difficult” for supporters to get to the game:

Despite the unfavorable prognosis, Schefter said on Friday afternoon that the Steelers and Bills were informed that the Sunday game in Buffalo was still set.

The safety of the clubs or the fans traveling to the game on Sunday is not a concern for the league. Instead of playing during the hottest part of the day, the league reportedly decided to go with the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins Wild Card games on Saturday despite the “dangerously cold” weather.
