Packers’ Game Against the Cowboys: Jaire Alexander’s Status Raises Eyebrows!

Sunday’s playoff game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers should be exciting. Jaire Alexander is currently battling with an ankle issue, so there is concern that he won’t play. Thus, if Alexander is ruled out, Green Bay decided to make a roster move.

Having said that, David Long Jr. has been officially elevated by the Packers from the practice squad to the active roster, per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. This was a wise insurance measure by Green Bay, even though Alexander is still a possibility.

“The Packers have promoted CB David Long Jr. off the practice squad after Jaire Alexander injured his ankle during practice and missed the last two days of the practice week. Alexander has been marked as dubious.

Long has spent five seasons as an NFL player. He has been all over the league this season, having spent four with the Los Angeles Rams. David Long Jr. has participated in many games for the Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Carolina Panthers. He will get the opportunity to assist Green Bay in moving on to the second round of the playoffs.

Alexander should be able to play on Sunday. The Packers will need Jaire Alexander in the starting lineup because the Cowboys have one of the top passing assaults in the league. This season, CeeDee Lamb has appeared to be the NFL’s top wide receiver. Dak Prescott and Lamb might have a big game if Alexander is unable to play.

However, the Packers have performed admirably both with and without Alexander in the starting lineup. The star cornerback’s season hasn’t exactly been stellar. Furthermore, Green Bay is a skillfully managed squad, and their defense has been a major contributor to their achievements.
