Was Jalen Hurts’s blueprint given to the NFL by a 49ers star from San Francisco?

With their first-round bye, the San Francisco 49ers have been enjoying their Wild Card weekend while the Philadelphia Eagles are already eliminated from the playoffs. Superstar Nick Bosa has also been taking it easy, and with the Eagles season being concluded, it seems like Bosa and the 49ers did, in fact, provide the blueprint for stopping Jalen Hurts to the rest of the league.

Following Bosa’s remarks in the media after their crushing of the Eagles, they have gone 1-5 the remainder of the way, losing badly to many of the NFL’s worst teams, such as the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants.

Bosa gave the NFL his game plan a few weeks after the game on how to stop Hurts, and it appears that the rest of the league took his advice. Following their 42-19 victory over Philadelphia, he was quoted as saying:

The 49ers and Bosa’s brutality against the Eagles seems to have been witnessed by many teams, as the 49ers played a completely different brand of football for the remainder of the season. The Eagles, who entered the game with a 10-1 record, were unable to win 12 games this season, not counting postseason games.

After then, Philadelphia’s only victory came against the Giants during a game that featured several extremely dubious calls. The 49ers practically ended the Eagles’ season by demonstrating to the other teams in the league how to thwart their offensive line.

The 49ers played Philadelphia this season with the intention of getting revenge for losing to them in the NFC Championship the previous season. The Eagles are now in their off-season as they prepare for their first-ever playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. Bosa and the 49ers’ other players are undoubtedly relieved to see them go down.
