Travis Kelce Focuses on Chiefs’ Playoff Run: ‘I’m Not Worried About My Brother’s Future.

Travis Kelce contradicted claims that his brother Jason Kelce, center for the Philadelphia Eagles, informed his colleagues about his retirement following their playoff defeat against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night.

On Tuesday, there were multiple reports suggesting that Kelce had informed his teammates about his plans to permanently clear out his locker room. However, Kelce has disputed these claims during a press conference on Friday, indicating that he may continue playing. He clarified that the rumors of his retirement were false and that the recent game had some emotional significance for him. Kelce mentioned a documentary that highlights his thoughts on the matter, making it unnecessary to inquire further. He also expressed his appreciation for the support shown towards him in recent times. Kelce concluded by suggesting that the veteran player still has the ability to continue playing if he desires.

Jason appeared sad and teary-eyed following the devastating 32-9 defeat against the Bucs in the playoffs. He took a brief moment with his family in the stands before slowly making his way into seclusion.

Although he did not address the media immediately after the game, Jason did speak with reporters on Wednesday. However, he did not reveal whether he plans to retire or continue playing.

Being extremely close, the Kelce brothers guard their discussions about important matters such as retirement as highly confidential.

Neither of the Kelce brothers has mentioned when Jason, the offensive lineman, will announce his future intentions.

Jason Kelce, who contemplated retirement after last season, ultimately decided to extend his NFL career by signing a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles that will end in March. In the meantime, the 36-year-old has experienced a significant surge in popularity thanks to his podcast “New Heights,” which he co-hosts with his brother Travis. However, Jason’s fame reached new heights when it became known that Travis was romantically involved with Taylor Swift.

Despite Jason’s season being finished, Travis and the Chiefs will be facing the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon.
