1 min readAfter a strong redshirt sophomore season, former Texas Longhorns running back Jonathan Brooks decided to enter the 2024 NFL Draft. Recently, he shared his aspirations of playing professional football. Brooks recently talked about his choice in an interview with Behind the Facemask.
“For example, let’s say I return to Texas and, god forbid, I suffer a career-ending injury that ends the season. Brooks reportedly stated, “I don’t go to the league at all; now, all my dreams and aspirations are kind of gone in my head.”
A portion of the decision was made with his family’s best interests in mind.
“It’s fulfilling to know that I can make a difference in my family’s life and mine in a few months,” Brooks continued.
