Good News: Brock purdy of the 49ers is expecting his first child

In July 2023, around the time of the couple’s one-year anniversary, Purdy proposed.

At Iowa State University, where Purdy played football and Brandt setters for the volleyball team, the two first became friends. Although she eventually relocated to the University of Northern Iowa in 2021, it is evident that they maintained communication.

Even after being named “Mr. Irrelevant” and selected with the final pick in the 2022 NFL draft, Purdy has found the strongest supporter in Brandt. With injuries to Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance, the starting quarterbacks for the 49ers, Purdy disproved everyone. Purdy overcame superstar Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in his first career start.

Born on October 26, 1999, Brandt grew up in Sumner, Iowa, alongside her three siblings, Kaylyn, Isaiah, and Morgan, as well as her parents, Kevin and Amy Brandt. She played volleyball for the four years she was a student at Sumner-Fredericksburg High School, where she also served as team captain twice. In addition, Brandt participated in club volleyball and track & field competitions. She committed to the Iowa State University volleyball team at the beginning of her senior year and graduated from high school in 2018.
