Nakobe Dean, a second-year linebacker with the Eagles, had surgery to treat a Lisfranc injury, and it is anticipated that this will keep him out of action indefinitely.
After sustaining a foot injury in the team’s victory over New England, Jeff McLane of The Inquirer reports that Dean will probably be placed on injured reserve, meaning he will miss four games for the second time this season.
Prior to his injury, Dean had started the previous three games and finished the season with 30 tackles, two for loss, and a half-sack.
