They’ve Been TogetherAndy met Tammy when they were both students at Brigham Young University in the early 80s and began dating.
Andy’sfuture wife came from a devout Mormon family, as she “grew up not very observant Lutheran”.
However, after meeting Tammy, Andy converted and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Thecouple tied the knot in August. 8, 1981.Currently, Tammy is the only person who calls her husband Andrew.
The couple lost their oldest son, Garrett, to addictionTammy and Andy have five children: Garrett, Spencer, Britt, Crosby and Drew Ann.
When Andy started coaching, Tammy became a stay-at-home mom.
Theirsons Britt and Garrett have been in the news in the past for battling addictions and spending time behind bars for drug offenses.
In 2007, Tammy spoke to Philly Magazine about raising children with addiction.

and Andy Britt’s son made headlines in February 2021 when he was involved in a serious car accident. He told police he had been drinking and had a prescription for Adderall, KMBC reports.
PageSix noted that Britt has a troubled past and was sentenced to eight to 23 months in prison and five months of probation on gun and drug charges in 2007 when he pointed a gun at another driver.
In 2009, he became the Eagles’ training camp coordinator while his father continued to coach the team. He then spent three seasons running the offense at Temple University before joining the Chiefs organization with his father.
