Shocking Warriors Story : Rookie Calls Out Draymond Green
A recent article by Anthony Slater of The Athletic revealed the shocking story of the time Podziemski yelled at Draymond Green in practice.
Elaborating on the story of when Podziemski was on Greenandteam before Green returned from injury, Slater said Green turned the ball over and lost the game, and Podziemski said, We can’t get a turnover in the game ! You can’t turn the ball over.
Slater added Green was surprised. They had rookies barely speak to him all season.
While this was of course unexpected for Green, he had no problem with it. He said to Slater and I said, “Okay, great, you understand.
No problem. Here we’re playing a game, a game to prepare me, and he’s yelling at me. That said a lot to me. I said, “You know what? No problem.
But make sure you talk like that all the time.” With great respect for Podziemski and what he brings on and off the court, Green did not take kindly. to being called out by the rookie guard.
