Daniel Faalele, a right tackle for the Baltimore Ravens, is still perhaps the biggest player in the league at 6 feet 8 inches and 380 pounds.
No one doubts his physical attributes, which are necessary to become a starting offensive lineman in the NFL, even though he has only started one game in the past two seasons while honing the more technical aspects of the position. 2024, though, may be the year that John Harbaugh puts his trust in him as a right side starter.
Faalele now has a place open because three of the Ravens’ five offensive line starters from the previous season—including veteran tackle Morgan Moses—are playing elsewhere. Harbaugh exudes a strong sense of confidence in his abilities and contributions.
According to the Ravens’ official website, Harbaugh stated, “He can come off the ball, and that’s what we want Daniel to do, because that’s what he was born to do.” “He has excellent footwork and the capacity to hold a block. The key is basically to be able to maintain a block, whether it’s a run or pass, zone or gap, or man or drive block.”
