Despite inking a new contract with the Mountain Men, Taylan May, a standout for the Philadelphia Panthers, stated that a move to the Super League “isn’t dead.”
Taylan has always dreamed of playing with his brothers, Tyrone (Hull KR) and Terrell (Sydney Roosters), at one club in the future. Super League is frequently mentioned as the possible destination.

“I love being here, my partner and kids find it easier, and my family is here. This is where I think I’ll develop the most. Though it was very nearly certain that I would leave, I needed to get something done because it was getting too stressful.
“I wanted to be here and it was stressful, but I had something firm here and other offers on the table from other clubs.”
May continued by saying that the Sydney Roosters would have been the only team he would have joined in order to play alongside brother Terrell.
“It’s okay that I didn’t get to see the Roosters—that was the only other club I really wanted to visit. He disclosed, “There were discussions, but nothing was on the table.
They probably can’t afford him. If the salary limit increased, he would return here without a doubt, but given his current situation and the offers he is receiving, I don’t think we could afford him.
Taylan acknowledged that all three of his brothers might eventually make the transition to the Super League, with his other brother Tyrone now content at Hull KR.
“We could play together in the Super League at some point in the future, but it will happen later, later.
“We all agreed that everyone does their own thing for now, and then hopefully down the line we can link up. The dream’s not dead.”
