The Baltimore Ravens’ “Perfect” NFL Draft Selection is Out: “You Shouldn’t Go That Way”

Derrick Henry, a rushing back, was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as a free agency. He will likely slide into Lamar Jackson’s backfield with Jackson, and the two could receive some major assistance during the NFL Draft.

Thanks to Henry, Baltimore’s attack can now combine explosive elegance with physical force, as seen by Jackson’s mobility and Zay Flowers’ ability to run circles around defenders.

The Ravens may place a high priority on strengthening the offensive line in front of Jackson and Henry at the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft in order to maximize the offensive unit’s potential.

While Joe Alt of Notre Dame and Olu Fashanu of Penn State lead the offensive tackle class, Tyler Guyton has shot up draft boards after an impressive performance at the NFL Senior Bowl and NFL Combine.

Ryan Fowler of Bleacher Report thinks Guyton would be a great fit for the Ravens in the first round.

For B/R, Fowler says, “One of the class’s incredibly talented movers.”The Baltimore Ravens might be wise to add Tyler Guyton late in the first round.

“At 6’8′′, 322 pounds, offensive linemen shouldn’t move the way he does, so GM Eric DeCosta should find it intriguing to envision him inside a Ravens offense that will stay diverse in its approach both through the air and on the ground.”

DeCosta has built a career around melding value to need, and selecting Guyton would add a talented and athletically gifted offensive tackle to upgrade a pressing need at a key position for the Ravens.
