FIVE Potential Replacements For James Fisher-Harris The Penrith Superstar

When James Fisher-Harris’ signing with the Warriors was revealed on Wednesday afternoon, it ignited rugby league circles.

A signing of this magnitude rarely occurs in the social media era without days or even weeks of anticipation beforehand. Kudos to the Panthers and Warriors for letting this process take place behind closed doors.

Over the last few seasons, JFH has emerged as one of the best props in the game. Definitely in the top five, and I might even be persuaded to put him in the top three. I wouldn’t mind if you choose to rank him second only to Payne Haas. Penrith will feel his loss. Possibly even more than the roster of celebrities they have just lost.

Even though he is excellent on the park, he leads by example as the club’s leader. We shall miss him. But rugby league moves swiftly, and the Panthers have already been connected to several players to take their position.

I have made an effort to retain these players as potentially available players. Of course, if you’re Penrith, you want to see names like Payne Haas, Joseph Tapine, and the like, but the pool of players isn’t very big. The five names I would suggest in lieu of James Fisher-Harris are listed below:

A Special Mention goes to Nelson Asofa-Solomona.

Ivan Cleary would certainly be very tempted if the Storm big man were made available. But now that he’s back in the Storm lineup, I find it impossible to imagine Craig Bellamy letting him go.
