Draymond Green Makes An Offseason Prediction For The Warriors

It is undeniable that the Warriors need to make changes, even though their supporters may feel a special connection to some of the players. Draymond Green concurs that a club cannot lose in the play-in tournament without making some kind of adjustments.

On The Draymond Green Show, Green discussed the Warriors roster and was extremely open about the need for adjustments. The first and only reason Green thought a change was necessary was the early exits the team had experienced in the previous two seasons.

“That’s now back-to-back seasons getting eliminated in tough, tough close-out games, but far earlier than we expect,” Green stated. “Especially not making the playoffs with this one. This is awful. but had to retool and go back to the drawing board.”

In regard to this particular, Green thinks that the team’s failure to qualify for the playoffs need to be a major factor in their need for reform. Nor is he incorrect. Regardless of your point of view, it is inexcusable that the Golden State Warriors, who have the largest payroll in the NBA, failed to even make the playoffs.

“I had excellent exit interviews with Mike and Steve yesterday. I’m excited to discuss this team’s future prospects,” Green remarked. It is not acceptable to miss out on the playoffs and then assume that everything will remain unchanged. That isn’t feasible, particularly for a company that has seen the kind of success we have already brought to this organization. You can’t just assume that everything will remain the same; that’s not what I expect.”
