BREAKING NEWS:Brisbane Broncos coach Kevin Walters makes statement after worrying footage of Reece Walsh

Coach Kevin Walters of the Brisbane Broncos issues a statement following concerning video of Reece Walsh.

Kevin Walters, the coach of the Broncos, has come under fire for his choice to leave Reece Walsh on the field until the very end of Saturday night’s 34-10 victory over the Wests Tigers.

Several times in the second half, the famous fullback appeared to be uncomfortable on the field, which worried the supporters. Walsh appeared to be having a cramp as he stumbled to his feet after tackles, puked after scoring his second try, and grabbed at his knee and leg.

The Queensland No. 1 didn’t leave the field until quite late in the game, though. Walters reassured supporters of the sport that Walsh was okay and had not sustained any major wounds.

Kevin Walters, who is shown, has come under fire for his decision to leave Reece Walsh on the field until the very end of Saturday’s match.

Walsh (pictured) was not hurt during the game, according to Walters, and he will play the following week.

According to Walters, Walsh experienced cramping after vomiting.

He suffered from every known injury tonight, but he is recovering well and should be well by next week, so that is wonderful news. Adam Reynolds, who left the game in the 77th minute due to cramps, was also having trouble toward the end of last night’s game. As top players Selwyn Cobbo and Ezra Mam fight against time to be fit for the Broncos’ revenge game against the Sydney Roosters, Jock Madden will have scans on his pectoral injury. In the 61st minute of Saturday night’s 34-10 victory over Wests Tigers in Campbelltown, Madden, who was playing five-eighth, departed the field. On Monday, scans will be performed to determine the extent of any damage.
