NRL NEWS:Released Forward Confirms New Home

Released Forward Verifies New Residence

Jack Gosiewski, a forward, has been released by the North Queensland Cowboys from the North Queensland Cowboys for the balance of his contract due to compassionate reasons. He will be joining the Brisbane Broncos.

Gosiewski has committed to Brisbane until at least the end of 2025, the Red Hill-based team declared on Monday afternoon. Coach Kevin Walters praised the acquisition. “Jack brings a good work ethic and an ability to play his role, so he will fit right in here with what we are building together at the Broncos,” Walters said in a statement released by the team.

“He will give us some extra depth in the forwards and if he puts the work in then I’m sure he will get some opportunities as we move into the season.” Gosiewski, a vital player for the Cowboys offense off the substitute bench, leaves the team after making five appearances this year. Having played in 13 club games before leaving the Cowboys, he has also been a member of the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Manly Sea Eagles, and St George Illawarra Dragons.

“We express our gratitude to Jack for his invaluable contributions to our team over the past 18 months,” said Cowboys Football General Manager Michael Luck in a statement released on Sunday night. “With his background and dedication, Jack has been a great influence on our young, promising edge forward group. “We hope the future holds the best for Jack and his family.”
