Denver Nuggets: Draymond Green Uses Brutal Nikola Jokic Reality to Hit Rudy Gobert

The big man for the Denver Nuggets, Nikola Jokic, has earned three MVP awards in his career for a very solid reason. Draymond Green claims that there’s another explanation for why he’s winning their series against Rudy Gobert and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Joker has regularly delivered an outstanding performance for the Nuggets throughout the course of 79 games this season. Over that period, the All-Star guard for the Nuggets averaged 26.4 points on 58 percent field goal shooting, 12.4 rebounds, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.4 steals.

Jokic’s MVP-caliber campaign made Denver the second-seeded team. They also merited a first-round matchup with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Similar to their meeting from the previous season, the Nuggets handled their business against LA with ease, eliminating them in five games.

But in their first two games against them, the Minnesota Timberwolves showed themselves to be a more formidable foe than the Lakers. With their array of big men on the roster, the Anthony Edwards-led team was able to lessen Jokic’s impact and take an early 2-0 lead over the reigning champs.
