Good News: NFLPA Rookie Premiere provides a peek of Ricky Pearsall in full 49ers gear

Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, the 49ers’ first-round draft pick, is attending the NFLPA’s annual Rookie Premiere in Los Angeles this weekend.

This event allows invitees from the NFL’s upcoming rookie class to network and communicate with NFL partners on prospective marketing opportunities. The NFL and NFLPA released videos of the rookies in full team uniforms taking the field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for photo opportunities. Pearsall can be seen in the videos.

San Francisco drafted Pearsall out of Florida with the No. 31 overall pick, assigning him jersey No. 14 for the upcoming season. While Pearsall participated in the 49ers’ recent rookie minicamp, players were not dressed in their full game-day uniforms.

As a senior in 2023, Pearsall recorded 65 receptions for 965 yards and four touchdowns over 12 games, per Sports Reference. Throughout his collegiate career, he caught 159 passes for 2,420 yards and 14 touchdowns over five seasons.

Discussing how he envisions contributing to a 49ers offense that already boasts significant star power, Pearsall recently said, “I think my versatility is going to help me. I think being able to play different positions and move me around is going to help me, give me different opportunities. And obviously, coach [Kyle] Shanahan likes to put a lot of guys in motions across the field, create matchups, create different looks. So, I feel like I’ll be a guy that can do that.”

Pearsall was the only 49ers player invited to the NFLPA Rookie Premiere.
