Good News: Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow Receives Major 2024 Injury Opinion From NFL Doctor

The Cincinnati Bengals are preparing to start the 2024 NFL season. After a difficult 2023 season in which Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending wrist injury, they are set to resume their status as legitimate AFC contenders.

While there is great anticipation for Burrow’s return to the field, there are some concerns. A quarterback suffering a wrist injury to his throwing arm is always a cause for concern. However, some of those concerns are subsiding.

Burrow has been seen in videos looking like his old self. Now, an NFL doctor has spoken out about the injury and helped ease even more of the remaining nerves.

Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow Gets Major 2024 Opinion From NFL Doctor

David Chao, a popular doctor that has weighed in on many different injury issues throughout the NFL, spoke out about Burrow’s wrist. He doesn’t envision the Cincinnati Bengals’ quarterback having any lingering issues.

“We expect Joe Burrow to be fine this season, despite a never before seen wrist injury on an NFL quarterback. It was handled well, fixed acutely. Expect him to have a reasonable offseason program and be ready for training camp and be 100% for the season.”

Last season, Burrow dealt with a calf injury prior to his season-ending wrist injury. He was never able to get fully healthy and it was an incredibly disappointing year. Thankfully, he’s not dealing with injuries at this point for the upcoming season.

When he’s healthy, Burrow is one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL. His presence alone makes the Cincinnati Bengals one of the NFL’s top Super Bowl contenders.

Hopefully, Chao’s opinion will end up being true and Burrow can get back to terrorizing opposing defenses in 2024. The Bengals are loaded with talent, but they’ll only go as far as Burrow can take them.

Expect to see Burrow take out his frustration from 2023 out on the field this season. He’s ready to get back to producing big numbers and it seems like he’s getting a clean bill of health.
