49ers Bolster Roster with Key Signings
The San Francisco 49ers have made significant moves in free agency to strengthen their roster for the upcoming NFL season. Among the most notable acquisitions is veteran pass-rusher Leonard Floyd, who joins the team on a two-year deal worth up to $24 million. Floyd, known for his consistent performance of at least nine sacks per season over the last four years, will play a crucial role in the 49ers’ defense alongside Nick Bosa.
In addition to Floyd, the 49ers have signed defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos to a two-year, $18 million deal. Gross-Matos, formerly with the Carolina Panthers, adds depth and versatility to the defensive line. The team also secured linebacker De’Vondre Campbell on a one-year contract. Campbell, who previously played for the Green Bay Packers, brings experience and leadership to the linebacker corps.
