The university has officially announced the appointment of veteran coach Mike Reed as their new Defensive Backs Coach. Reed, who brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success, is set to join the Gamecocks’ coaching staff immediately.
Reed has spent the past several years coaching defensive backs at various prestigious programs, including Clemson University, where he helped develop numerous standout players and contributed to multiple championship runs. His expertise in secondary play and player development is expected to make a significant impact on the Gamecocks’ defense.
