Nashville Predators’ training camp, as veteran player _Colton Sissons_ finds himself at risk of losing his roster spot. Sissons, a stalwart on the Predators’ fourth line, has been a mainstay with the team since 2016.
However, after a subpar season and an unimpressive showing in camp, Sissons’ place on the team is in jeopardy. The 29-year-old forward faces stiff competition from younger, faster players vying for a spot on the Predators’ revamped roster.
“We have some tough decisions to make, and Colton knows he needs to elevate his game,” said Predators Coach, Andrew Brunette. “We value his experience and leadership, but we need to see more production and consistency.”
Sissons, known for his defensive prowess and penalty-killing expertise, must adapt quickly to the team’s new system and showcase his skills to secure a spot on the opening-night roster. If not, he may find himself watching from the press box or even risk being waived.
