Oregon Ducks football has made a major statement, officially announcing the signing of three experienced players through lucrative Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals, significantly bolstering their roster for the upcoming season. The Ducks have landed two standout transfers and one highly sought-after recruit, all of whom are expected to make an immediate impact on both sides of the ball.
The collective value of the NIL deals for these players is reportedly in the millions, reflecting the growing influence of NIL opportunities in college football. The signings come at a crucial time as the Ducks look to strengthen their squad and continue to compete at the top of the Pac-12 and on the national stage.
The three players announced include:
1. Marcus “Tank” Johnson (Linebacker) – A powerhouse linebacker transferring from a major SEC program, Johnson is known for his physicality and leadership on the defensive side of the ball. 2. Devon Carter (Wide Receiver) – Carter, a dynamic wide receiver and deep threat from a Big Ten school, joins Oregon with a reputation for game-changing speed and athleticism. His NIL deal is valued at $1.2 million, and he is poised to become a key weapon in the Ducks’ high-powered offense, pairing well with Oregon’s talented quarterback group.
