In a surprising post-game press conference, Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban commended Oklahoma Sooners’ quarterback Jackson Arnold and running back Xavier Robinson for their outstanding performances during Oklahoma’s commanding victory over Alabama.

Despite the loss, Saban didn’t hold back in praising the Sooners’ rising stars:

On Jackson Arnold: “Arnold is as good as advertised. His composure and ability to read the field were exceptional. He’s got a bright future ahead of him.”
On Xavier Robinson: “Robinson was a force to be reckoned with. He kept finding ways to break tackles and make plays. Those two are special talents.”

Arnold and Robinson’s Dominance

Jackson Arnold: The freshman quarterback delivered a masterful performance, throwing for over 300 yards and multiple touchdowns. His precision, mobility, and decision-making were pivotal in dismantling Alabama’s defense.

Xavier Robinson: The physical running back showcased his power and agility, racking up over 150 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns. His relentless effort and ability to exploit gaps were critical in keeping Alabama on the back foot.
