Good New: Kansas State wildcats QB and others withdraw their interest in Transfer Portal to stay with Kansas State wildcats despite big Money moves

In a significant offseason win for Kansas State, quarterback Will Howard and several other key players have chosen to withdraw their names from the NCAA transfer portal, reaffirming their commitment to the Wildcats. Despite being pursued by programs offering lucrative NIL deals, these athletes have decided to stay in Manhattan, prioritizing team loyalty and unfinished business over financial incentives.

Will Howard, who played a pivotal role in leading the Wildcats’ offense, expressed his excitement about continuing his journey with Kansas State. “This program has given me so much, and I believe in what we’re building here,” Howard said. “There’s no place I’d rather be than with my teammates and coaches.”

Joining Howard in staying are standout wide receiver Phillip Brooks and defensive star Kobe Savage. Their decisions reflect the strong culture of trust and family that head coach Chris Klieman has cultivated within the program.

Coach Klieman commended his players’ loyalty, stating, “In today’s environment, it takes a lot for players to turn down big opportunities elsewhere. The fact that they chose to stay says everything about their belief in Kansas State and what we can achieve together.”

With their core players remaining, the Wildcats are set to build on their recent success and remain a force in the Big 12. Fans can look forward to another exciting season as Kansas State continues its pursuit of conference championships and national recognition.
