Despite being pursued by programs offering lucrative NIL deals, these athletes have decided to stay in Manhattan, prioritizing team loyalty and unfinished business over financial incentives.
Will Howard, who played a pivotal role in leading the Wildcats’ offense, expressed his excitement about continuing his journey with Kansas State. “This program has given me so much, and I believe in what we’re building here,” Howard said. “There’s no place I’d rather be than with my teammates and coaches.”
Joining Howard in staying are standout wide receiver Phillip Brooks and defensive star Kobe Savage. Their decisions reflect the strong culture of trust and family that head coach Chris Klieman has cultivated within the program.
