The Oklahoma Sooners have secured a massive win on the recruiting trail, landing five-star wide receiver Brandon Arrington, one of the most coveted prospects in the Class of 2025. Arrington, who had offers from powerhouse programs like Oregon, USC, and Texas A&M, announced his decision to join the Sooners on Saturday.
The 6’2″, 190-pound standout from Southern California is widely regarded as one of the top wide receivers in the nation. Known for his elite speed, precise route running, and playmaking ability, Arrington has drawn comparisons to NFL stars like Davante Adams.
“I felt like Oklahoma was the best place for me to develop as a player and a person,” Arrington said during his announcement. “Coach (Brent) Venables and Coach (Emmett) Jones showed me how I can thrive in their offense and help bring championships to Norman.”
Arrington’s commitment is a significant boost for the Sooners as they prepare to transition to the SEC in 2024. His addition solidifies Oklahoma’s reputation for developing elite offensive talent and provides a potential game-changer for the Sooners’ future.
This decision marks another recruiting win for Venables and his staff, as Oklahoma continues to build momentum on and off the field. With Arrington in the fold, the Sooners’ 2025 recruiting class now ranks among the best in the country.
