The Miami Hurricanes received a significant boost for the 2025 season as their starting quarterback and three other key players announced they are withdrawing from the transfer portal and remaining with the program. Despite being pursued with lucrative NIL offers from other schools, these athletes reaffirmed their commitment to the Hurricanes and their vision for the future.
The quarterback, a pivotal leader in Miami’s offense, expressed his dedication, saying, “Miami is home. We’ve got big things ahead, and I’m excited to help take this program back to the top.” Alongside him, a standout wide receiver and two defensive playmakers also chose to stay, rejecting substantial offers elsewhere.
Head coach Mario Cristobal celebrated their decision, stating, “These players are crucial to our future. Their loyalty and belief in the direction we’re heading speaks volumes about their character and commitment to Miami.”
