Clemson Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney has confirmed the list of players set to depart the program, signaling the end of an impactful chapter for several standout athletes. As expected, the departures come from a mix of NFL Draft declarations, transfer portal entries, and graduation.

Among the most significant losses is linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr., who has declared for the NFL Draft following an outstanding career as one of the Tigers’ defensive leaders. Joining him is wide receiver Beaux Collins, a consistent playmaker whose contributions will be missed on offense.

Several other players are leaving via the transfer portal, including backup quarterback Paul Tyson and cornerback Malcolm Greene, both of whom are seeking new opportunities. Additionally, senior stalwarts such as defensive tackle Tyler Davis and offensive lineman Will Putnam will also move on after completing their collegiate careers.

Coach Swinney expressed his gratitude, saying, “It’s always tough to say goodbye to players who have given their all to this program. These young men have not only excelled on the field but have been outstanding ambassadors for Clemson University. We’re excited to see them succeed in their next chapters.”

The Tigers now turn their attention to reloading their roster, relying on a strong recruiting class and transfer additions to maintain their status as perennial ACC contenders. Despite the losses, Clemson fans remain confident in the program’s ability to thrive under Swinney’s leadership.
