As of January 8, 2025, there have been no reports indicating that the Arizona State Sun Devils’ head coach has been dismissed due to fan pressure. The most recent coaching change occurred in September 2022, when Herm Edwards was fired after a 30–21 loss to Eastern Michigan and an ongoing NCAA investigation into recruiting violations.
Following Edwards’ departure, Shaun Aguano served as the interim head coach for the remainder of the 2022 season. In April 2023, the NCAA issued a show-cause penalty against Edwards for recruiting violations during the COVID-19 pandemic, which included hosting recruits on campus during a dead period.
As of now, there have been no further coaching changes or reports of fan pressure leading to the dismissal of the head coach.
