Nebraska football transfer portal tracker: Nebraska Cornhuskers add experienced defensive back…… see more

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have bolstered their defensive backfield by adding experienced transfer Marquis Groves-Killebrew. The 6-foot, 185-pound defensive back, who has two seasons of eligibility remaining, previously played for the Arizona Wildcats and Texas A&M Aggies. Groves-Killebrew was a four-star prospect out of North Cobb High School in Georgia and was listed as a three-star transfer portal prospect by 247Sports.

Groves-Killebrew’s commitment marks the fourth addition to Nebraska’s secondary through the transfer portal this cycle, joining Jamir Conn (Southern Illinois), Andrew Marshall (Idaho), and Justyn Rhett (Georgia).

This strategic move aims to strengthen Nebraska’s defensive backfield, providing depth and experience to the Cornhuskers’ defense.
