The Ole Miss Rebels have suffered a major setback as two of their veteran standouts, wide receiver Bryce Marshall and defensive back Trent Davis, are ruled out for the entire 2025 season due to injuries. Marshall sustained a torn ACL during offseason conditioning, while Davis suffered a shoulder injury requiring surgery after a practice collision.
Marshall was a key figure in the Rebels’ offense, recording over 1,000 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in 2024 as quarterback Hunter Lawson’s top target. Davis, known for his versatility in the secondary, led the team in interceptions and was a vocal leader on defense.
