Arizona State Sun Devils head coach Kenny Dillingham announced today the addition of two key players to the team’s roster, enhancing both the offense and defense for the upcoming season.
On offense, the Sun Devils have secured a commitment from wide receiver Chance Ables. Ables, a 6-foot-3 prospect from the 2025 class, was previously committed to TCU before flipping to Arizona State. Ranked as the 118th-best wide receiver by 247 Sports’ composite ranking, he held offers from Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Baylor. Ables’ addition is expected to provide a significant boost to the Sun Devils’ receiving corps.
Defensively, Arizona State has added defensive lineman Zac Swanson through the transfer portal. Swanson, who transferred from Texas to Arizona State in May, has contributed to the team’s success with 16 tackles, two tackles for loss, half a sack, and a quarterback hurry. His addition is anticipated to strengthen the Sun Devils’ defensive line.
