
On February 1, 2025, Boise State Broncos head coach Spencer Danielson announced the signing of two key players to strengthen the team’s roster.
The first signee is Josiah Alanis, a 6-foot-1, 178-pound defensive back from Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Washington. Alanis is a three-star recruit, ranked as the top safety and the No. 8 overall prospect in Washington by 247Sports. In his senior year, he recorded 37 tackles, including a solo sack, and intercepted two passes. Additionally, he excelled as the team’s primary punt returner, averaging 37.8 yards per return and scoring on a 66-yard return. Alanis also won the 2024 state title in the long jump, leaping 24’1″ to set a state meet record.
The second signee is Jaden Williams, a 6-foot-4, 255-pound edge rusher from Mission Viejo High School in California. Williams is a three-star recruit, known for his athleticism and pass-rushing abilities. His commitment adds depth to Boise State’s defensive line, providing a versatile and powerful presence capable of making an immediate impact.
