Clemson Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney announced today the addition of two key players to the team’s roster, bolstering both the offense and defense for the upcoming season.
On offense, Clemson has secured a commitment from quarterback Chris Denson. Denson, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect from Plant City High School in Florida, was previously committed to Coastal Carolina before flipping to Clemson. In his senior season, he led his team to a 9-3 record, completing 65.4% of his passes for 2,334 yards and 28 touchdowns, while also rushing for 1,159 yards on 113 carries. Denson becomes the 14th commit for Clemson’s class of 2025.
Defensively, the Tigers have added linebacker Jeremiah Alexander through the transfer portal. Alexander, a former five-star recruit, spent three seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide, recording eight tackles during his tenure. He has two years of eligibility remaining and is expected to make an immediate impact on Clemson’s defense.
