On February 1, 2025, Florida State Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell announced the signing of two key players to enhance the team’s roster.
The first signee is Chastan Brown, a 6-foot-7, 270-pound offensive tackle from Warner Robins, Georgia. Brown, a four-star recruit, was previously committed to UCF but reopened his recruitment after Gus Malzahn’s departure. He chose Florida State over offers from Arkansas, Missouri, Georgia, and Georgia Tech. His commitment significantly strengthens Florida State’s offensive line, providing a formidable presence in both pass protection and run blocking.
The second signee is Ousmane Kromah, a 6-foot-0.5, 215-pound running back from Leesburg, Georgia. Kromah is ranked as the No. 3 running back nationally in the 2025 class and the No. 11 overall prospect in Georgia. His commitment adds depth to Florida State’s backfield, offering a dynamic playmaker capable of making an immediate impact.
