“I’m beyond blessed to have had the opportunity to play for the Houston Cougars and to now have the chance to take my game to the next level with the Seattle Seahawks,” Thompson said, addressing the media with a wide smile. “This has been my dream since I was a kid, and I’m ready to work harder than ever to make the most of this opportunity. But no matter where this journey takes me, I’ll always be a Cougar at heart.”
