Virginia Tech quarterback Kyron Drones has reportedly signed a historic and record-breaking Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with the university’s top collective. This agreement ensures Drones’ commitment to the Hokies for the upcoming 2025 season.
Despite a challenging 2024 season marked by injuries, Drones is expected to be the starting quarterback, with redshirt freshman William “Pop” Watson providing strong competition. Head coach Brent Pry will determine the starting role based on performance and team needs.
