The Auburn Tigers celebrated a major win for their football program as their starting quarterback and three key teammates announced they are withdrawing from the transfer portal to remain with the team for the 2025 season. In the face of substantial NIL offers from other programs, these players opted to stay on the Plains, reinforcing their commitment to Auburn.
The quarterback, a leader of Auburn’s offense, cited his belief in the program’s upward trajectory, stating, “This is home. We’re building something special here, and I want to be a part of it.” Alongside him, a top-tier wide receiver and two standout defensive players have also recommitted to the Tigers.
Head coach Hugh Freeze applauded their loyalty, saying, “These young men believe in the Auburn family and what we’re creating together. Their decision to stay speaks volumes about their character and dedication.”
