The Kansas State Wildcats football program received a major boost as their starting quarterback and three key teammates announced they are withdrawing from the transfer portal to stay with the team for the 2025 season. Despite receiving lucrative NIL offers from other programs, the players reaffirmed their loyalty to Kansas State and its bright future.
The quarterback, a driving force behind the Wildcats’ offense, expressed his commitment, saying, “Manhattan is home. We have unfinished business, and I believe in this team’s potential to achieve greatness.” Joining him are a dynamic wide receiver and two defensive standouts who also turned down significant opportunities elsewhere.
Head coach Chris Klieman praised their decision, stating, “These players embody the values of Kansas State football—loyalty, hard work, and belief in something bigger than themselves. Their decision to stay shows their dedication to the program.”
With this core group returning, the Wildcats are set to remain a strong contender in the Big 12, with high expectations for a successful 2025 season fueled by a sense of unity and purpose.
