Clemson Tiger Suffer Major Blow:Two veteran star Players Unavailable For 2025 Games Due to……

The Clemson Tigers have received troubling news as two of their star veterans, quarterback Ryan Caldwell and linebacker Malik Johnson, will be unavailable for the entire 2025 season due to injuries. Caldwell suffered a torn ACL during offseason conditioning, while Johnson sustained a severe hamstring injury that will require surgery.

Caldwell, who was poised to lead the offense in 2025, passed for over 3,200 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2024, making him one of the top quarterbacks in the ACC. Johnson, a key leader on defense, recorded 95 tackles and 6 sacks last season, playing a pivotal role in Clemson’s defensive success.

Head Coach Dabo Swinney expressed disappointment but maintained confidence in his team’s depth. “Losing Ryan and Malik is a big hit, but we’ve built this program on resilience and depth. We have young players ready to step up and continue our pursuit of a championship.”

As the Tigers prepare for the 2025 season, they will rely on their depth and next-man-up mentality to fill the void left by Caldwell and Johnson. Their ability to adapt will be crucial as they look to remain a top contender in the ACC and national rankings.
