
Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer has strengthened his coaching staff by bringing in several experienced professionals to enhance the team’s performance for the upcoming season.
Notably, Kane Wommack, former head coach at South Alabama, has joined as the defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach. Wommack’s prior experience includes serving as defensive coordinator at Indiana University, where he led a formidable defense.
Additionally, Maurice Linguist, previously the head coach at the University at Buffalo, has been appointed as co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach. Linguist brings a wealth of experience from his tenure at Buffalo and previous roles at the University of Michigan and Texas A&M University.
On the offensive side, Nick Sheridan has been named offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Sheridan previously served as offensive coordinator at Indiana University, where he developed a reputation for innovative play-calling.
These strategic hires reflect Coach DeBoer’s commitment to assembling a seasoned and dynamic coaching staff, blending familiarity with SEC experience, to guide the Crimson Tide toward continued success in the forthcoming season.
